Volleyball Beaten by Bergen

The Lady Colts volleyball team traveled to take on Bergen Community College on Sept. 1. It was their first match of the season.

The Colts would lose, three sets to none. They lost the first set by a final score of 25-21. The second set was closer, but not by much. Bergen won by a final score of 25-22. In the third set, Bergen dominated for a 25-14 win.

Amber Rauh led the Colts with 10 kills in the match. Jahmeice Coleman was second on the team with three kills. Only two other players, Mandeep Rai and Stefanie Iglesias, recorded kills with one apiece. 

Genesis Mora led the team with 12 assists. The only other player to record an assist, Kyra Grant, recorded three of them. Errors also proved to be costly for the Colts. They committed 14 hit errors and three block errors.
